Update10.4.06

Dear Family & Friends,

Once again it has been some time since the blog has been updated. Kris is still in Marin at the Kentfield Rehab Hospital. While he has had some minor improvements, overall his condition remains unchanged. He is receiving rehabilitation therapy 3-4 hours a day, but not yet responding to commands.

The doctors have determined from an EEG (electroencephalogram) test that Kris is having “sub-clinical seizures". They are originating from the area of his brain damaged in the fall and are not visible, but occurring continuously. The first agents used to control them have proven unsuccessful and the doctor has told us these types of seizures can take a while to get under control. We are hoping that once we get the seizures adequately treated, Kris will have a better chance of responding.

We want to thank all of you for your support and kindness over these last 2 months. It has been greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Thanks,

Ryan, Michael & Kathy

Michael, Kathy and Ryan, I ran into Ernenstine from Cello and Maudru yesterday and she told me of Kris's accident. I am so sorry to hear of it. She gave me the link to the blog and i have read thru the dates.

I worked for Kris until my mom had a stroke. He is a wonderful man and a great boss. My prayers are with all of you and I will certainly add Kris to my nightly prayer. He is a strong man and I have all the faith in the world he will beat this.

Please take care, Marge Bell
